When will Grants story “nobody’s home” be released? I look forward to reading this story
Thanks for asking, Cheryl. You might have one of my bookmarks from a few years ago, but at this time there’s no plan to title Grant’s book Nobody’s Home and make it part of the Rescue Me Saga. The way I’m seeing it now (and it’s becoming much more clear as I’ve been writing ROAR, my next release, a standalone novel that includes Gunnar, Grant, and Patrick as secondary characters) that those three are going to have a separate spin-off series. No title for the series or individual books yet, but it will involve their Black Ops activities in Afghanistan. It’s becoming clearer to me, as I said, by what’s happening in Kristoffer’s story. (Kristoffer is Gunnar’s cousin and involved in his contracting firm’s operations Stateside.) But I learned way back in 2012 when I first said Grant’s book would be Nobody’s Home that I cannot predict when books will be written. The characters have to speak to me and she hasn’t yet. But as I am starting to see what’s going on and I have plans to take a course in writing romantic suspense (which their spin-off will be) I hope to start on that series by next year. In the meantime, she continues to make drive-by appearances in other people’s books! It all helps me see her more clearly and ONE of these days, she’ll talk. I think I’m going to start the series with Patrick, though, and coax her out through that one. Gunnar’s will be the final book in that series.
