Haunted by a tragic accident that yanked his beloved wife from his side, Kristoffer Roar Larson has been going through the motions in life. But when he meets the dedicated surgeon and humanitarian, Pamela Jeffrey, he feels an undeniable connection to her, stirring feelings he’d buried long ago. After encountering her in a compromising position on a tour of a BDSM academy, he realizes there’s more to her than meets the eye. Fascinated by her assertive alpha personality coupled with her desire to submit and serve, Pamela intrigues him.

As Pamela shines light once more into the dark corners of his life, Kristoffer finds himself struggling between remaining in his safe and lonely world or emotionally opening himself up to a vibrant woman, who asks for nothing more than he’s able to give. Guiding her in mind-training exercises to prepare her for some future Dom, Kristoffer finds his body awakening as well. Will Kristoffer be able to close the door to his past and open his heart to the ginger-haired sprite who makes him question everything he once believed?

ROAR is a standalone novel that has some familiar secondary characters from Rescue Me Saga, but the main characters are new. You don’t have to read the series to fully enjoy this book.

SPECIAL NOTE: There will be NO preorders anywhere but Apple. I want to reward them for always looking out for authors, plus for offering us a preorder system that isn’t fraught with unnecessary stress the way the one at Amazon is. So, this is the only preorder. The book will then go live everywhere else as soon as they make the book live. Amazon can be a little slow there, too!

  1. I’ve been waiting for something new since “Nobody’s Dream”! I really can’t wait to get my hands on “Roar”. When will that be possible?

    1. Thanks so much for your enthusiasm, Donna! I’m afraid ROAR has thrown me for a loop again and I’m making more revisions. As you probably know, I won’t release a book until I’m completely happy with it. Since I don’t plot or outline, it can be a lot of fits and starts to get it right. I do believe that I’m closer now than ever and as soon as I can predict a release date, we’ll be setting up an exclusive preorder on Apple iBooks. That should give you an idea of the latest date I expect it to be because I’ll add time to it to give me a little more wiggle room. Stay tuned to this web site and my newsletter for updates! And thanks for wanting more!

  2. I love your work and am waiting, impatiently, for the next installment. I was wondering when Roar will be available from other stores, specifically from Kobo?
    thanks

    1. Thanks, Teresa! Only the preorder period will be exclusive to Apple, so on whatever day we go live with it, we will also upload to the other booksellers, including Kobo. It shouldn’t take more than a day or two to process. No date has been set yet because I’m doing some major revising still, but we’ll try to set a date with Apple that would be the latest possible date expected for the release. Stay tuned!

  3. *Hops up and down on good leg trying to do modified version of the Snoopy dance.* I. CANT. WAIT!!! Even though I buy most of my books on Amazon, I have no problem buying on iBooks. I’ll just be happy as a clam to get the new book. Can I get a WOOOOT!

    1. The great thing about Apple preorders is they deliver earlier than Amazon ones do! And Apple pays authors better, too. 🙂 I’m excited for when you all will get to read ROAR!

  4. I got started into this series, first from my wife, then as well from past experiences in the fields. Needless to say, we’re both waiting to see what happens with this series…and from deals we’ve seen, off and on we’ll read about military history and my wife will say “sounds like something Adam would do”. We own the series, it was a good deal from Amazon, can’t wait to add to it. Keep up the great work!

    1. I love it when couples read the Rescue Me Saga together! There’s so much to come, although I’m going to focus on some new characters for a while who don’t exactly fall within that series. Like Kristoffer and Pamela in ROAR. You’re going to love it, I’m sure! An awesome story–so I’d better get back to work on it!

  5. I am so looking forward to reading roar. I have all of these books in this series and have read them all at least 4 times. will start reading again when roar comes at. I love to go back and read a series when the next one in that series is on it’s way out. I am waiting very patiently thanks Kally

    1. So glad you’ve enjoyed my Rescue Me Saga, Peggy! While I love that you want to do a re-read, keep in mind that ROAR starts a new chapter with relatively new characters, so you will have no trouble diving right in if you don’t have time for a re-read.

This will also be great for readers who haven’t read begun reading the series, too. But if they love ROAR, I hope they’ll want to check out my other books, too!

  6. I am excited to read another chapter to the rescue me saga. Can’t wait. Thank you for all you hard work and creative writing. I have re-read the series for the fourth time. I really enjoy each of their journeys . I do have one questions I was telling my friends at work about the books and when I went searching for Master at arms the first book ,I could no longer find it. I have it in my Kindle already but could not find for her?

    1. Great to hear from you again, Tammy! I made the decision in 2013 to combine Masters at Arms and Nobody’s Angel into a single book in 2013. (I was hearing lots of backlash about readers of other series complaining about free books with cliffhangers–and Masters at Arms had THREE cliffhangers–so I thought it best to give them a free book that ended with a happy for now ending at least for Marc and Angelina.

So, tell your friend to download the combined MASTERS AT ARMS & NOBODY’S ANGEL (book 1 in the Rescue Me Saga). It’s free now and probably will stay free, but there are no guarantees. And before you do a re-read, I encourage YOU to download this combined version, too. There have been some corrections and tweaks made over the years!

And thanks for your e-mail, too. Glad you enjoyed visiting the characters again in NOBODY’S LOST and NOBODY’S DREAM.

  7. I am so very excited for Roar to be released! I have been going through some major medical issues for the past 9 months. (Haven’t had one week without at least 2 doctors appointments since last August. ) I read to take my mind off of everything, so I have reread the series twice since then. It’s one of my absolute favorites to read.

  8. I have read the entire collection of Rescue Me Saga. They were all page turners and hard to put down once I started reading. Really enjoyed each book. I honestly can’t think of one that I liked better than the others. They were all great!!

    1. Thanks! I hope to release ROAR (a standalone about Gunnar Larson’s cousin, Kristoffer Roar Larson, and Pamela Jeffrey) on June 14. Still making revisions and adding scenes, though! But my team is on top of edits and we’re going to do it!
